  • Morning All....it's just bleurrrgh out there.

Might have to move the chocolate temperer into the drier air of the dining room. Can't make chocolate in a cold, damp kitchen - there isn't a rad in the kitchen because we used to have an anthracite boiler that acted as a rad and when took out the boiler to put gas in, clever Uncle Landlord decided we didn't need a heated kitchen. It's like an icebox out there.

Just have the backing to sew onto the bl**dy table dawdler now. Can't wait to get shot of it. I can't figure out why it's been such a job; it's just straight sewing, but I've done more unpicking than sewing. I spent most of yesterday unpicking the lining which wouldn't sit flat, then the sewing machine 'ad 'eadfit and I had to take that apart. Like I said, can't wait to get shot of it. I had so (sew) many things I wanted to make for this fair, and that runner has taken up all my time instead

    Meanwhile......coffee?

Thought I'd post this here in case anyone here is more suitable than I am (probably all of you actually)
I'd tell them to buy at tent and a hammock then they'd be sorted but it would be a very short program then.
      Location....East Midlands.

      • Morning all. The thermometer says it got down to -1 last night, but it's obviously warmed up a bit. No frost to be seen.

Red sunrise this morning, but it's gone grey and damp now

Not if you make the tent out of thistle down spun into a cotton like material (Having made a spinning wheel) and waterproof it with lanolin from the sheep you will be shearing using a sharp flint. The hammock could be constucted (over several months) by being made of clay fired in a kiln (kiln making another 6 episodes) like a bath shape.
