  • Happy Wendsty!! Why does Wed-nes-day have so many unnecessary letters?
Another clear sky - must have been cold last night as the windows are covered in condensation. Must remember not to breathe so much tonight.

            • Good morn all...

Another dry crips day here and thus far, November has been a pleasure to deal with in my neck of the woods Long may it continue to behave...

Off for more dry needling later - the joys!
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

              • Morning All...'Crips' here too, and sunny. Jolly parky, but we didn't get frost unless it was gone before first light.

Good chocolate making weather. Just three more types to make - Berried Treasure, Dark Chocolate Cherry and Chili & Lime. Then I've got to start tying hundreds of pretty bows on everything.

Yesterday was mammoth. So much chocolate made, not a bit of it lost it's temper, and I finished off my twenty meece cushions - spent my afternoon as a veterinary proctologist - they all have tails and nicely stitched up bottoms Might even have time to make my knickerbocker glory pincushions.

Quick (ha, yeah, right) nip into town this morning for candy canes and gold ribbon.

                But first, coffee? Everyone ok?

Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

                      • I'm embarrassed to say that I have a crips frier in the garage, full of oil, that hasn't been used for 8 years. I just can't face changing the oil enough, to want to use it.

Yes my daughter has one, you might as well take a blow lamp to your chips. I am a lard man where chips are concerned, they are even begining to realise their may be health benefits in all these fats butter included. I knew I have always been right. Just waiting for them to find out cigarettes are good for you, i havent had a cold in ten years the bugs just cant survive in my lungs. As for cleaning, our chip fryer has a lift out pan that is seperate to the electrics, its a doddle to clean.

BB our fryers something like this one :-

HYUNDAI DEEP FAT FRYER 3.5L - Electricals - Products | Poundstretcher

so to clean it you lift out the heating element then all that's left is a rectangular tin that's easy to clean.

                            • Our original one got binned eons ago because it was a pain to clean, then kindly sister in law decided to give us a replacement it works well but it doesn't come to pieces to clean so "we" thought a halogen air frier might be the way to go (although when she is away I use the trusty chip pan on the gas, shhhhhh don't tell her though )

What sort of capacity does it hold Bren?, cos the image of the chips might be deceptive.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
