I'm trying to plod down my list .....'tis going very slow .
Still got jars to label and get into some semblance of order......some orders to put together ......stock check and list .....
My Dad's just been round for a cuppa told me not to worry about putting him in a home when his parkinsons gets bad

Having owned and run a care home, I have given my children strict instructions to get me in a nice home as soon as I show the slightest inclination to being Ga Ga,I tremble at the thought of them looking after me.

I would enjoy seeing it from residents point of view because i know the rules and regs backwards. i know the terror the owners feel when the CQC drop in unannounced just as one resdient has fallen over and another one has escaped by hiding in the laundry basket. Many residents have the time of their lives in care homes, its just a few bad apples that give them a bad name.

I've threatened to go and live with mine,6 months each, get my own back, from when they were teenagers !

Evening all! What a wonderful sunny, crisp day it has been! I tell you, there's nothing like a lunchtime run in the beautiful autumn woods in the park to make you glad to be alive!

And then I'm baking chocolate chip cookies in my beautiful kitchen in a mo - if you've all been very good, you can have one with your supper.
