Ooops, run out of water again Hope no one needs 'to go' before we pump water tomorrow...and hope the river is not too high to pump from or we could be in trerrrrble.
Camping's the only time we don't take water for granted so its not looking too good for you Feral
Not too bad Bren, I'm not working tomorrow and if I remember to take the petrol container in when I go to town I might be able to mow the grass and pump water at the same time!
It's when you run out just as you're heading to a stretch of working that you have problems. Mind you there could be a few screams if the girl teen was planning to wash her hair in the morning before school
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

I couldn't commit the time required to keep up with it Feral. I would much rather it go to someone who could commit.

Afternoon gang, winter is on the way,by 3pm it seems the day is over, time to think about card writing,a job i hate, would sooner ring up and convey greetings, but others see you as mean,1 year i did not send any out, only to close family, boy did i get some comments

LD I know what you mean about cards I used to hand make all mine but now I only send them to those who appreciate them that was after a comment of being too tight to buy cards.
I only send cards to immediate family and a few close friends. I stopped sending them to all and sundry some years ago - instead I make a donation to a Cancer Hospice. I'm very dubious about charity cards as only a tiny proportion goes to charity so I'd rather cut out the middle man.
A handmade card is much more thoughtful than an off the shelf jobby anyway. I know which I'd prefer - carry on crafting Ladies
exaxtly VC,carry on crafting, its so lovely having an individual made for you card,it's the thoughts gone into it,true christmas spirit of giving,i remember as a youngster preping for the santa visit,1 pillow slip,we did not care what was inside, only the fact that santa had been,so much more fun than todays I WANT IT,things are now all for shop profits across the seasons, look at our christmas SS exchanges ,it's the joy and exitement of all those years ago,for grown ups

Ooops - went for a 3 mile hike by mistake - took Rosie to a new park with lots of twisting paths and rides - ended up walking in the wrong direction! Rosie liked it though!
Aaaaaaaaaarternooooooon Peeps. Lovely day here again, but getting cooler now. Had a ride out on chum's Horse to accompany her on the new one. Great way to spend the morning. Took the dawgs for a wander down their favourite track on the way home, and they had a good belt around in the hedges and ditches, and chased imaginary Waaabits among the fallen leaves. Fab.
Coffee?
