      Have fun Barb!

Just scoffed some sheepy-pie for tea. Nom-nom! Spoke to Hubby, he's made it as far down as Penrith, and has stopped for a slap-up meal and a bed for the night. He was impressed that I could track him - Big-Wifey is watching you lol and very impressed that I could get his iPad to make a noise at him! Good fun!

Just noticed a lonely Magnum in the freezer, wonder if he was saving it...

Evening All. Had a very productive day at work, despite the back ache. Picked loads of tomatoes this evening, some huge black ones - more delicious passata on the cards. Impromptu visit by the GGs, which was lovely. PJs now and half an hour relaxing on the game. See you tomorrow, have a good evening. Bet the Magnum's not lonely any more

So glad we had the boiler serviced. The water heater started making awful noises, ignition went into overdrive, the pilot light went out and now it won't come on. Goody coming back tomorrow afternoon 12-6. Another day waiting.
Trying to find clothes to wear to a posh dinner in a month's time. None of us have anything to wear so kitting out three of us is going to be pricey. I can never find anything to wear as I can't wear synthetics and for some reason clothing manufacturers think posh means synthetics. Think it due to being a child of the 70s and being dressed in crimpelene. Remember the days! Ho hum will continue my online hunting.

Eeeeeewwwwwww! That brings back horrid memories of an Orange Crimplene dress I had in Primary School. I've not worn either the colour or the fabric since!

Hope they fix it tomorrow, Wendy.

              G & flat T anyone?

My mum made us various crimplene clothes: brown flares, red and white spotted shorts, pinafores. We wore them all!

Morning, I'm at the dentist this morning but after that the days mine.

Wendy I hated crimplene it always gave me static shocks so our two girls were saved from having to wear it.

My mother was the same - home sewn trouser suits she made my sister & I wear - matching ones, at that. The sister was not impressed as I was a toddler of three or four, but she was eight or nine. Who wants to be seen in matching outfits to your wee sister (whom you loathe anyway, what a pest) and crimplene to boot. Big flowery dress style tops and brown trousers.....at one point we had matching purple tartan pinafores with lilac skinnyrib polo necks underneath. Lovely.

                        Coffee?

I think we sound like clones! I had some tartan trousers to wear on a family holiday to Scotland in 76. Cringe!
