    Bit damp and murky today - never mind, I have to continue reducing the chutney - that should take up another day

          Last time I made green tomato chutney, it should have taken a couple of hours to make but I thought I'd make 4 batches in a oner in a big pan thinking it would take the same time. It didn't just take 4 times two hours , I was up most of the night stirring the damned stuff. It was brill chutney but I've never had the courage to make another batch

          • I think that was my problem too Ap, I made loads!! It looks a lot thicker this morning so I'm bringing it back to the boil and hoping it won't be long. Everything smells of chutney......even the dogs .

                  • Just got back from the vet - Rosie has to wear a muzzle - all fine and well but it takes her about 3 minutes to get it off her head.

                      • Don't know what you clockin in for BM ,i thought we just turned up,as and when ,had enough of that stuff moons ago,seems we had a drop of wet stuff over night,now drying out,yes, i know its a few week off yet,grabbed a cheap calender for next year,any appointments ext can be written in,plus i not got to chase about for one nearer on,anyway up,happy afternoon all,
