Morning its wet here as well and my tip for the day is when you've cleaned out an empty water butt don't forget to reconnect it

I have to continue reducing the chutney

Last time I made green tomato chutney, it should have taken a couple of hours to make but I thought I'd make 4 batches in a oner in a big pan thinking it would take the same time. It didn't just take 4 times two hours , I was up most of the night stirring the damned stuff. It was brill chutney but I've never had the courage to make another batch

I think that was my problem too Ap, I made loads!! It looks a lot thicker this morning so I'm bringing it back to the boil and hoping it won't be long. Everything smells of chutney......even the dogs .

It must be the day for jam making I've made 4 jars of blackberry and apple and I've sieved out the pips this time

Just got back from the vet - Rosie has to wear a muzzle - all fine and well but it takes her about 3 minutes to get it off her head.

Don't know what you clockin in for BM ,i thought we just turned up,as and when ,had enough of that stuff moons ago,seems we had a drop of wet stuff over night,now drying out,yes, i know its a few week off yet,grabbed a cheap calender for next year,any appointments ext can be written in,plus i not got to chase about for one nearer on,anyway up,happy afternoon all,
