"Hey i have a great idea, lets move all these two ton stones several hundred miles" Even back then religion was at the root of mans stupidity.

          • Ahhhhh, but it wasn't necessarily done in the name of religion.........but to create unity, to build a focal point for all the tribes of Britain to come together and gather in peace.
Perhaps we should do the same again, not just in Britain, but for the world ...........

                    • When it rains like this, all day, and you live overlooking a river, you do get a teeny bit anxious!

But,on a positive note, the 'chutney concoction' is bubbling away, and the veggies ready to be made into curry, and I still have loads left ! (Patty pans)

                      • No rain here but very windy! Spent most of the day in the GH, potting on 110 mystery perennials and sowing some sweetpea and pea seeds in root-trainers.
Going shopping soon as there not much food left here - can't complain - haven't bought any food for 3 weeks
See ya later - be good

                            • Evening all, all right? Happier as it's Friday!

Plus I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Would like to plant all of my over wintering allieums. Even of we get persistication. And write up my counselling learning review.

But best of all, I'd like to roast the one cobnut butternut I made with home made sweet peppers and chillies before turning it into Bollywood soup. Now that, is looking on the bright side!

I do an on-line shop about every six weeks. Hubby 'pops-in' when passing and gets the essentials. That means I can avoid going most of the time. I do force my self about twice a year, but that's enough for me - I loathe shopping.
