  • You have been busy, Lottie, you and your good man . Bet you're enjoying having YOUR own Shed
My garden does look different, but its still a mess, lots more to do there, just give me another year or two Going to do some serious pruning and clearing over winter, when the leaves have fallen and I can see the trees again. Still, its nice to have a project....

    • Evening all.... Long day at work but over now, and it's the weekend thankfully..
Got my scan done too.. No big deal- just hope it shows something up when results come thru... Trying to settle my stomach as it feels stuffed, so having a brandy and port. ..(purely for medicinal purposes)
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

You're right though, one of the pleasures of retirement is to choose what you do and when you do it, no more clock watching - just being your own boss

                          • I've just raided the booze store found some cognac and some vintage port but, it seems a shame to open them just to experiment I'll wait until I need something medicinal

                            • a brandy with a little port has the edge taken off the sharpness of the brandy. A port with a little brandy puts a wee edge on the smoothness. Whatever floats your boat
