  • Just back from evening Horsey duties. It's dark now and it's not even 7pm.

Time for a glass of poison. Cheers!

    • Yay, it's not a brick, it's a proper loaf. GG is well chuffed. Eldest GG has also had a successful interview for a part-time job at Meadowhell. Lovely weekend, with lots of giggling, those girls are great. House seems quiet now, but Chester's still here! See you all tomorrow, I've got the day off for a well earned rest

      • I'm hoping for a day of rest tomorrow too. Or at least a dry day.

Had four of the grandchildren for the weekend and the weather's been pants so it's been hard work keeping them occupied.

          • I dont know what all this talk of rain is, It's been a lovely afternoon here, warm cloudy and so very autumn. I was thinking of getting a cheapo poly tunnel from Primrose (£89) 3mx2m to house my fuschias etc overwinter but when I went to the local GC they had the very same one Marked down from £130 to £75 then £50. The box is a bit tatty so i bought on condition all the bits were there.

            • Good to get a bargain, Bill. We had a lovely sunny afternoon here after all, too. Did I spend it productively? Nah!

                      • I love home made bread, and do make my own sometimes, but the fresh stuff gives me violent indigestion, I still have to eat it though.

                        • With apologies to G4 but I was going to ask you if it was a little piggy?
Then thought I should check whether pigs had hooves.........
and I'm still giggling about the Goggle answer........

"Do pigs have hooves? Yes. A Pig is a Suidae, which is an ungulate. An ungulate is a mammal with hooves. Do marshmallows have pigs feet? You are a dumb ..."

........especially as I can't get to the original answer to find out what dumb thing they are..........

(I expect the question was meant to be "Do marshmallows contain gelatine from pig's feet...." But I can't get rid of the image of a marshmallow with hooves ...........)

                          Sorry, as you were

                            G'night, all.
