Afternoon I've been out and about but back home again with a mug of tea and egg custard.
One of my buys was a veg steamer basket for £1 from the charity shop.

Feeling a bit better today, but I keep getting shivery - not sure if it's me or the weather.

Took several bags of shredded paper to the lottie and put on the compost heaps. Twas quite pleasant over there, not exactly sunny but reasonably warm. Bonus is that the kale is re-growing after being decimated by caterpillars in the summer.

I've been at work. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better RL, sounds like shivers are the aftermath. It's cold and dark here and I'm changing the bedding. Well, I'm sitting here typing really, when I should be changing the bedding. Better get on

Been off having this tumour removed from my ear. So happy now it's gone - the earache was just debilitating.

hi, not been on for a bit - work has taken over my existence. Ear sounds nasty julesapple. Just had flu jab and its given me miniflu? Is that possible?!

Petal, yes - that's how vaccinations work. I remember Terry Wogan saying he wished he'd never had the flu jab, after two weeks off sick. My ear is tons better now, I accepted a cancellation last Monday to get it done - just a day job. Still a bit itchy, and that's irritating, but when it's healed it'll be great. My hearing has also improved a bit. Looking forward to not having earache constantly now. Hurrah!

Before the lug job, I got my cushion commissions all done - thirteen in total for the same client. Annoying, my MinL turned down a load of commissions (I found out by accident) because she wanted me to make stuff for her (for free) and didn't want me putting paid commissions first. Anyway, sorted that out and was able to take on a few of the commissions, couldn't trace the rest. I've been making a mouse shaped cushion this evening and some more felt ogees.

Off to bed with my book now! Night All...

PS Have these fires affected Feral, anyone know?
