Thought it was a bit draughty - then realised why - the stitching on the inside leg of my jeans has given up the ghost Good job I noticed now as I'll be going out soon

Wet here. Nipped out to put some Autumn lawn feed on the lawn so it gets washed in. It's light relief from the marking I'm doing. Only four more to do but so so bored. Perhaps a cup of tea will help, with a packet of biscuits....

Weather warning!! In Cardiff we've having the heaviest downpour I can recall for a long time. The gutters are overflowing, the road looks like a river and there's thunder. Not sure which way its travelling but fetch your washing in soon
So glad that I'm not on the M4 at the moment - think I'll be staying put for today.

Weather update! Flash flooding in Cardiff - but not here thankfully. The band of rain is heading for Monmouthshire according to the Met Office. You have been warned - if your washing gets soaked don't blame me. Sun's out here now, blue sky, but everywhere is soaking wet, water butts overflowing and the stream at the end of the garden is flooding into the horse field, which looks very soggy

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarternooooooooooooooon Peeps. We started with cloud, it progressed to drizzle, and the sun is now almost, very nearly, beginning to shine! My laundry, that's been on the line since mid-week, may now dry. Yeah, right.

Rain came out of nowhere about half an hour ago - it's really dark out there too. Hard to believe that I was enjoying a run in the sunshine an hour ago!

Evening All....

We've had a few heavy showers, but nothing like the Cardiff downchuck. Lovely full rainbow earlier, after a particularly heavy shower.

I've made 4.5 mice today......I'm intending to do them in a spectrum of colours, I'll take a photo when I've done them all. I had only planned about four, but I think it'll be nearer the dozen.

Got laundry in, finally. Still damp, so half is in the dryer the rest is 'waiting' lol. Best go do sommat 'housewifely' as Li'l Sis is coming over next weekend, and the place is worse than hers at the mo!!

Yes please G4 *passes glass, ice and a slice if you don't mind. I've had a busy day doing housework including the dreaded oven cleaning and started taking down the spent tomato plants. Daughter arrived and was a lovely interruption, so I've not done anything since. PJs on and wine a-chillin'. On the game soon
