  • I'll stick to my coffee. I don't often have coffee in the evenings but, sometimes, after a nice meal, I really fancy one. I was going to stick brandy in it but I might go and sew, so not a good idea.

MyCat is 'on one'. Daft madam is running up and down the sofa like her tail's on fire.....now she's chasing said tail. You wouldn't think she was nine.

      • Rained here most of the day, not torrential but persistent. Finally got so stircrazy I took the two littl'uns out for a splash in the puddles and the rain stopped.

We found a bag full of treasures to take home to Mum. Pretty leaves, some rosehips, sweet chestnuts and Lucas found himself a stick (he's worse than the dog when it comes to sticks).

Lit the fire this evening at the behest of the ladies as they wanted some "character" in the room... What's wrong with me?

Taking it easy this morning altho there's loads of work to do outside and the kids will be complaining about the heat shortly Fridges desperately need cleaning out, and then a tip run. Why is there so little motivation for these activities? I'm much prefer to mow!
