[Hazel at the Hill]

Since my last post I've been in the garden taking down the pea frame but now its thundering and threatening to rain so its mug of tea and cherry scone time.

I hope you've brought enough for us all, Bren!

I completed this week's Challenge this morning (note to self: get 'em typed up!) in the sunshine, then hung out the washing and went to the Hill - and got really wet in the heavy showers, as did the washing of course.

The plot looks really sad - it all wants a good going over! On the plus side, I had 9 spaghetti squash, a leek and a parsnip.

Hazel the rest are in the freezer sorry, cherry scones are the only ones we buy instead of making Mr Pots gets them of a bakery stall on the Saturday market and they're ever so nice.

Evening all. Not too bad a day as it turned out. Managed to get to the allotment this afternoon and pick some kale for dinner this evening. It's recovering really well after the caterpillar attack.

Still too wet to cut the lawn though, and it's persisting down again now.

Just realised it's The Guv'nor's birthday, today, and no one has started a thread! I'm off for a soak in the tub, catch y'all later.

Will try to be positive. Three of five evenings this week are late finishes.

Plus side, it will then be half term. During which, I get to taste real tirimisu and pi^ot gregio

Very wet n horrible today, but popped to Allotment shop,and collected next year's Seed catalogue, must remember I already have quite a number of packets already!

So planning for next year.

Do you mean Zaz, G4? I thought that was tomorrow - mind you, I got it wrong last year as well! It's my eldest son's birthday on Tuesday. I've sent him a card picturing a blue football shirt with his surname on and the number 37 - youngest son is a fortnight after and he's got a red shirt with 36 on. I dare say their comments will be pretty much the same too Have a good evening all, see you tomorrow.
