Can I pick your brains folks? Madmax and I are looking to purchase a logburner and could use some advice if any of you posses one of these?

I have SNadgers plans somewhere but fancy something a bit more tidy looking for our snug It is only a small room and won't be the main heating - just want something to add some cosy factor.

May still be outside your budget but I've seen some of the Chilli penguin stoves and nearly bought one myself.

Make sure you get one with a flat top so that you can at least put a kettle on it. We always have a kettle on ours and usually reheat, simmer or defrost on it, too.

Those are cute! Looks like any sort of stove might be over our budget. The new roof cost us a packet.
