      • Afternoon
I'm feeling a bit grotty with a cold so I sort of missed the morning up to yet I've boiled my head ( nasal inhaler) and had a few drinks of ginger, lemon and honey. So a quick look around the vine then back to the sofa.

              • No not yet VC, I'd picked my varieties and was all ready to buy when circumstances meant I went solo business wise and I couldn't justify the upfront cost at that point in time. I'm very tempted to go if only to see what they have there. I have one variety in the back garden in fruit at the moment, but its a common and garden coxs pippin, which I'm sure they'll have plenty of.

I know Sunday is out of the question but I'll see if I can persuade the other half that Saturday would be a nice trip.

Just come back to Cardiff via Chris's recommended Heads of the Valleys route. The trees are just starting to change colour and it was a real delight to be away from the motorway. Thanks for reminding me, Chris
