    • Been wet and windy here today - cleared up enough late afternoon to sweep up some of the leaves in the back garden. Bagged them up with some old MCP out of the pots and delivered to the lottie to add to the Dalek.

      • Eeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps. Been warm and sunny today, after this morning's drizzle. Quite pleasant and around sixteen degrees. Can't be bad.

I've never tasted it either RL I've seen it for sale but going by looks alone its not appealed to me.

Celeriac? Never grown it, but I have eaten it. I can't abide Celery and Celeriac reminds me of it, so no, I'm not going to try again. Having said that, I'd use it in soups or stews as a bulker...

              • Love celeriac! My attempts - well, my BinL's attempts to grow it for me, were a dismal failure this year. What didn't get washed away in the rain was eaten by the slugs. Ah well.....maybe next year.

Is celeriac the Marmite of the vegetable world?
