I laugh when a car or motorbike backfires and the dog's heads spins round to look at their backsides as if to say "Did I do that?"

As it's the day of pumpkin carving I popped over to see who was winning the heaviest pumkin in the VVS ,surprised to see that an undeclared weight was winning I do appreciate it is only a fun thing & the one in the 'barrow looks bigger,but is it actually heavier.

This is a phenomenon not just confined to dogs, the elderly do it a lot (I’ve been told)

I ate my first fried egg for years, a few weeks ago .........and I boiled an egg for breakfast
Just have this problem about the consistency of egg white and yolk in the same mouthful - they're so different

Nice bright sunny Halloween day here...
Had great time at cinema with kids yesterday evening, 4 year old's 1st trip and she loved it her eyes were as wide as frisbees

Afternoon. Having a bit of lunch, then going to wash down and insulate the greenhouse. We've not had a frost yet but as the greenhouse is empty seems a good time to do it.
We have a cat flap fitted on Tuesday, so have been posting them both in the hope they get the idea. Percy has managed in and out independently but his sister hasn't quite sussed it yet.
