Morning its fine but cool out. so a perfect leave gathering day.
A quiet night here in the end the only callers were the milk man but he only wanted money not sweeties then daughter called in with youngest grandson to show us their costumes. So the sweets have gone back into the jar in case we get penny for the guy door knockers.

We have to clear the shelves of fake blood and talons first - then its the rockets and sparklers turn (weren't they ancient pop groups?).
Not sure what day the GR opens but we could pretend and meet up tonight

Phew, don't want another week like that in a hurry, doing the work of 4 people. Loads of fireworks here already, I expect they'll be firing all weekend and next week as well. Have a good time G4

Some fireworks here tonight - just massive bangs and no sign of any pretty bits in the sky That's just selfish.
Don't think the noise will worry the new dog as she's deaf, in fact only one dog out of 3 can hear anything, so I've turned the radio up loud for her sake. Since its 1st November I've put the heating on and drawn the curtains for the first time since April. Pity one of the pull cords snapped in my hand Could be stuck with part drawn curtains for months
