We had fish cooked on the griddle this evening, the boys & I. The BH doesn't 'do' fish, but he did try a little morsel of mine. The sons are not adventurous gourmands, but both pronounced it delicious.
Time to do some late night plotting......
Night all!

Knicker elastic eh?...I thought the arse fell out of that industry years ago
Busy day today after a day off.. Those emails do pile up.... Kids starting ( well the four year old especially) to say what they would like off Santa... which is every toy ad on the tv
Woohoo - well even tho it was freezing and windy monday son and I did some work outside. Yesterday got into the watering and repotting of smaller seedlings (huge frosts still coming here ) And today a little mowing before........Road Trip!
Daughter and I are off to see Stepmother, go to a really big deal horse show in sydney (just one day and night not all 4 ) includes the showjumping finals on friday night.
Then a big shop for a dress for daughter - it could be a painful process.
And this may be the last road trip for a while where I get to drive and not gibber in the passenger seat.
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

Good Morning all, Happy Hillday. A very pleasant 6C here this morning with no aftersmell that you usually get after bonfire night. Have a good day, hope your pets survived the night.

Good morning Grapeworld
'Twas quiet here firework-wise though I could see the rockets going up over the city - best way to see them - at a distance!!
Its raining and doesn't look very promising - apart from promising more rain
Hope you are all well and looking forward to whatever today brings
Morning All. There were some lovely fireworks last night and probably because it belted it down with rain, they stopped at about 10 which was great. Dull but not too chilly this morning. Have a good day
Well, would you look at that; it's raining. Heavily. Again. Quelle surprise!
Fireworks stopped at about 10.30 last night, apart from the odd one or two. They resumed at about 6 this morning. I did ask the neighbour 'What on earth are you doing?' he said 'It seemed a shame to waste them now Guy Fawkes is finished....' Pardon? What? At 6am? Why didn't you do the entire box last night you gormless twonk?
So, we've been up since then......
Table runner to finish today, then I can sew some fun stuff.
Coffee?
