hello,had a productive time at the plots,a patch now ready to rake and plant the sprouting garlics,onions and E garlics,just hoping the weather forecast is true to words for tomoz,then it's get another area ready to build another wood frame for the netting,am so looking forward to next season,

I spent about 3 hours up there this morning, it was lovely, although ground v heavy due to al the rain. Finally,finally, have lifted all the potatoes, currently a load drying out on garage floor, still 2 more piles to bring home. Definitely not going to grow so many next year!
Also making plans to 'path' round plot and cover with membrane and chippings, to make bit less work for me next year, need to chat up husband or maybe bribe his help, to build some beds!
Wish the sun had come out here. Grey all day, reminds me of that poem about November, no anything. Got the washing in after 6 hours on the line. Barely drier than when it went out. Resorted to tumble drier but think it is going wrong as clothes were too hot to touch when it finished!
Bolognese bubbling on the hob, everything in it from the allotment- bar the mince.
