      • My boys used to enjoy digging these up, as they called them mutant spuds. You do get some weird shapes. A fellow plotholder makes his into baked chips. I haven't grown them for a while due to blight, but this was the year to grow them. Enjoy!

        • Delish freshly dug- but if I recall the smaller ones are a pain to peel if you try to store them????

          • Evening all... Did a bit more work early morning and got a quick run in too.. Then off I went racing... Horse ran well and finished 2nd, but would have won if she jumped a bit better... Them's the breaks tho

Dinner, then get the kids to bed and maybe a glass of red later...

              • Fine thanks, G4.

I went out for a run today too, Trip - nice day for it. Unlike yesterday when I got soaked - but you get to the point that you can't get any wetter, so what the heck...!

Evening all - just finished work here - going through a great stack of photos that a contractor has taken and tagged them all with the relevant reference codes. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I did listen the radio whilst I did it though - what is it about Front Row on R4 that makes me want to throw things at the radio? At least it wasn't that smug beggar Mark Lawson. I worked out what it is about him which is odd - it's that he never ums and ahs when he talks - always sounds like he is reading from a card. Perhaps he is!

Shouldn't really open a bottle until tomorrow (Friday!), but I may have a small glass of Sherry - that's not like having a drink, is it?

                • I did tell her a few times with added expletives on an odd occasion
She jumped to the left too often but think she was just a bit green..

Lovely day for a run Hazel... thoroughly enjoyed it..

I don't even attempt to peel, just give them a wash and a scrub, boil, roast, bake ( with olive oil and rock salt ), some have got very large. Will see how well they store

                    • Good moaning all, Happy Friday.....only 6 more to go after today.............a lovely cool, calm 5C here this morning. Got my annual migrate to Belgium on Sunday, will be glad to get that over with, it's so tiring (but well worth it). Going to Ostende for a change instead of Brugge. Have a good day, going kit**en hunting.....

Its cloudy here, not exactly raining but it looks as though it will be soon. Very mild though. Never sure whether November is autumn or winter
                        Have a happy day everyone
