EDIT I should have said - Well actually I couldn't give a monkeys but that might have offended you

                  • [QUOTE=Bren In Pots;1180705]Morning its a bit misty and soggy out but that's about it, so I'll be gathering leaves later on.

Congrants on your second Trip must be exciting watching your own horse race.[/QU

Yep, is good fun Bren.... A group of us ( mainly all friends) are involved, so it is nice when we do well...
                    We can celebrate together!

Went to physio this morning to see what we can do about my long standing running injury... Started with "dry needling" which is basically getting needles stuck in to the muscles.. I don't mind needles, just hope they do some good...

Off out for a meal with the neighbours tonight and am looking forward to a few relaxing drinks...
Then off to Ireland rugby match tomorrow.. Busy busy

                        • Took me about that long, RT, to come home after a visit to everyone's favourite Swedish store - after what felt like 3 hours in the queue
Had a wicked urge to write a rude message on the blackboard with those magnetic letters they have in the children's dept.
There's something about all those toys that makes me want to play with them. Went there once with a friend and there was a rocking banana seesaw thingy. Well I just had to, didn't I ? The embarrassing thing was falling off it, much to the amusement of all the passing shoppers
Hope you've all had a good day - hasn't stopped raining here

                            • Which warning RT? The one about this toy is only suitable for little shorties
I lost my nerve in there today - there was a bin full of children's hats, including some that looked like a fly agaric toadstool. It looked just a teeny bit too small to try on - didn't want to break it

                              • Eeeeeeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps!

Been a funny sort of very 'up' followed by very 'down' day, with appropriate weather at the right points too, I may add. Had a lovely plod out on the BIIIG 'Orse this morning, with chums, in the warm sunshine. Got back to finish Horsey chores, and ended up saying an unexpected goodbye to one of the older in-mates, who had decided that today was the day. I departed to go to work, as I wouldn't have been a lot of use in the proceedings, and promptly got rained-off as it went black as yer 'At and threw it down. I hope the old Lady 'went' before the rain came.

                                RIP old Girl.

Don't think I'm going to stay and chat tonight - I wouldn't be very good company. Quite what I'll be like when it's my old Fella's turn, I have absolutely no idea.
