    • Morning All.
Reading about LG's sad loss has put a dampener on my morning too. Its easy to say, I know, but do whatever you want to do while you can, for we never know what will happen tomorrow.

      • Thank you all so much for your kind messages; LG's loss does put it all into perspective doesn't it? I may have had a stressful time but I still have my husband with me.

The Italian 'NHS' was pretty damn great, the emergency care was a bit chaotic but once he was transferred to the neurological ward it was fantastic! He did say that he thought hospital food in UK and in Italy was comparable though (that incidentally is not a compliment)!

        • Morning another frosty start to the day.

I felt really sad after reading LG's post life can be so unkind, so Susie its good to hear that your husband recovered.

          • Lovely sunny morning here, cold but still no frost this year.

I'm off down the allotment now, hoping to have a chat with my new neighbours about where the boundary is between our plots. They've been a bit enthusiastic in their clearing of brambles.

            • Morning all. Lashing with rain here and very windy, for us. Thank goodness we are not in the Philippines which is starting to look like a terrible, terrible disaster.

Reading LG's post does put it all into perspective - we were having a lie in and Mr PP was opening birthday cards having turned 47 this morning.

Try and have a good day everyone.

              • Morning, all.

Hugs to LG. Trying to pull myself together. Being observed this week. Could be any one of 8 lessons of HSC. My third subject and heavily coursework based. Internal inspection thing. Hardest thing, is having being told you're a rubbish teacher in your fourth subject -it's been a stressful four weeks-to now have to been fabulous in your third. Not teaching my first this year. Don't think I've ever been as stressed as I have in this post. My crashed immune system telling me that.

Hope you all have a good day, the sun is shining here. I'm going to try and make it through the school work Sunday. The carrot on the stick? Richard II at the WAC on Wednesday if I make I thought

                • Gosh....it's the BH's birthday this morning too. He's not pleased at being 51 and is quite down about not having achieved all that he had planned to achieve by his age, because of his back and various health problems. But, as PP says, you need to get things into perspective.

Both he and I are stunned by LG's loss. Our hearts go out to her.

                  Has anyone seen my coffee?

Oh, PS, Cold but sunny here today - a welcome change!
