I have oven chips too Dorothy, on the rare occasion that I eat chips. McCain Homechips are about the best of a bad bunch I've found, closely followed by Aunt Bessie. Can't stand the thin fries.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps - lovely day 'ere. Even rode a Nag, and did some work!
Incidentally, we're 'avin' chips this evening, and we have a deep-fat fryer much like the one in the link, but ours is made by T€f@l. We've had it for ever, and it's a doddle to clean.

Got caught on camera today riding the scoot but I'm certain it's not a summon-able motoring offense

Mornin folks. Been feeling a bit down here. Need to get out in the garden but too much to get done inside first.
Poor son trying to pour oil on troubled waters with daughter and I (since we're talking about chip fryers and oil/fat) with very poor results.
I'm back off to work tonight. Only two nights so will be home again before I know it Had a week off so it's been nice. Would rather be a lady of leisure if I could afford it, but nicer than going back to the old place anyways.
We have Pa chips occasionally at our place. Real potatoes cut up fairly thin, then fried in butter. Dad never quite got the unhealthy butter thing (grew up on a farm) and lived to his 80's. The kids always loved Pa's chips so we still have them now and then.Ali
