Cookies is an American term for biscuits, but as usual we have taken it on board. I read somewhere that American English has 26,000 differences to British English. Candy/sweets, muffler/exhaust, Fanny/bum, bum/tramp etc The list is endless, well 26000 long anyway.photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html

Yup a biscuit is baked twice and goes soft when stale, a cookie is baked once and goes hard when stale.....
