    • Not too bad Bren, I'm not working tomorrow and if I remember to take the petrol container in when I go to town I might be able to mow the grass and pump water at the same time!

It's when you run out just as you're heading to a stretch of working that you have problems. Mind you there could be a few screams if the girl teen was planning to wash her hair in the morning before school

        • I couldn't commit the time required to keep up with it Feral. I would much rather it go to someone who could commit.

                  • LD I know what you mean about cards I used to hand make all mine but now I only send them to those who appreciate them that was after a comment of being too tight to buy cards.

                    • I only send cards to immediate family and a few close friends. I stopped sending them to all and sundry some years ago - instead I make a donation to a Cancer Hospice. I'm very dubious about charity cards as only a tiny proportion goes to charity so I'd rather cut out the middle man.
A handmade card is much more thoughtful than an off the shelf jobby anyway. I know which I'd prefer - carry on crafting Ladies

Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                          • Aaaaaaaaaarternooooooon Peeps. Lovely day here again, but getting cooler now. Had a ride out on chum's Horse to accompany her on the new one. Great way to spend the morning. Took the dawgs for a wander down their favourite track on the way home, and they had a good belt around in the hedges and ditches, and chased imaginary Waaabits among the fallen leaves. Fab.
