  • help with I'd please

    Hi. Have stumbled across loads of these today can anyone help I'd? Will go back tomorrow and take pictures of surrounding area. Woodland moist area.

    You need to identify the nearby trees, whether they're growing on the tree stumps or on rotting wood, or in the leaf litter. Also whether they grow in clumps or individually.
    I don't recognise them and I wouldn't attempt to identify them from your photos. Sorry.

      I believe there some kind of mushroom!


      I would not eat them though!!

        Try posting your photos on iSpot | your place to share nature, there are fungi experts there who may be able to help you. As the others say, if you are not an expert yourself don't eat wild fungi.

          COULD be Blushing Wood Mushroom.

          Say COULD as they are defined as Edible but without knowing 120% I wouldn't try.

          Problem is that the one mentioned looks about right but the website has pages of fungi shown and another further down may be a better visual match and deadly.

              This isn't the place to be asking for mushroom ID. If someone said it was ok and you ate it, the mag could be sued for publishing an incorrect ID so I'm going to be closing this page.
