That would involve things like, getting rid of all weeds even if they aren't seeding yet; using line to measure completely straight rows; choosing varieties for size and uniformity instead of for flavour and long harvest period; not putting newspaper down over the paths; and so on..

The judging here doesn't expect any of those things ...................... or I'd never have won *shakes head*
