    Nice to know.

Part of me though wonders if the research is valid. Correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation, so maybe the conclusion should just be, "people who don't feel so good or who are going to die soon don't do much gardening"?

So, would standing on a beach waching the rod tip be classed as hunting & excercise?..................

        I like this paragraph
"As long as they make you feel warmer, breathe harder and make your heart beat faster, activities such as DIY and gardening count towards the 150 minutes of moderate-intensity [weekly] activity recommended for a healthy lifestyle."

I'm sure there are other activities that would fit the bill.........unless my memory has gone with old age.

        Wait, its coming back..............

        .........ahh yes, skipping

With such activities you are forever planning for the future. you have something to live for, to look forward to - not quite the same waiting for the next episode of Jeremy Kyle.
