First frost of the year round this neck of the woods last night. Minus 1.5C outside.

First frost here last night too. Looking at the forecast should get a run of frosty nights now. I kind of like it, draws a line under the season and lets me clear away the remains of all that summer bedding and start getting ready for next year.

Just a little sparkle on the car roof this morning. Lowest Temp last night 3.7. Seems to be warming up again overnight - must mean more rain on the way

Serious car scraping required yesterday morning. Definite air frost - the grass didn't feel crunchy though.

We've had a couple of gentle ones....nowt serious as of yet..

We pulled a couple of outdoor lettuce this morning for lunch- they were in a sheltered part of the garden and had just been nipped by the frost. The others are under fleece and are still fine....for now

We had a cold start yesterday. Ice on the inside of the windscreen and tough scraping outside. Iced watering cans etc.... Luckily things in the ground are in sheltered area.

We seem to be a in a chilly spot Brr, tshirt, sweater and fleece today. Thermals at the ready.
