I said to my wife that i would rather like a cod piece, She mumbled something about lacking the ability to fill it.
It brought home to me just how lucky we are not to have to constantly worry about where the next meal is coming from.

Am I the only one to read a title like "Tudor Monestry Farm" and immediatly have the thought "Why ???". To say I couldn't care less how they farmed is an overstatement.

As to lets dress up the same also. That's an even bigger WHY ???

Just in case any doubt, didn't see a second of it.

Do not like or watch the period drama's either.

Can we have an emoticon blowing a raspberry ?

Why? - to please most of the people replying to this thread, and lots of others *wry smile*

They just wouldn't continue to make them if nobody watched them

When I was younger I don't think I was very interested in such things, and couldn't really see why people were interested in Family History and such, but this has changed as I've got older.

I thought the series about the farming and feeding the UK during and after the war, fascinating, and highlighted how much we take for granted now, and how very hard it was for the families left at home, struggling to care for their children.

After a little look round Pumpkin Becki and Ladylottie seem to be the ones who hold a candle for our Peter.

They've been missing for a while - maybe they've run off together (with Peter, that is)
