  • It's true what they say.......

...one mans rubbish is another mans treasure.

I've just been taking a few bits to the skip and found these glistening in the sun on the top of the cardboard skip

Made my rubbish run more interesting than usual.

I take my unwanted books to the charity shops, but gardening books never get thrown away - oh no no no!

          Thats a brilliant find.

Last year we hired a skip, the next morning it had several dusbins full of rotting fish guts in it.

You don't expect people to sleep on the floor of them do you, Bren

Altho, what I have just typed has reminded me of a sad story of someone who fell asleep in one

That's stupid throwing them away. They'd cost about £20 each to buy new.

                    Actually, they're about £50 each!

I expect they were urine sodden or the springs had broken. I can imagine people rescuing them then having to evacuate their house as the matress warms up.

And this is all from finding gardening books in a skip. So easy to get lost
                        Great isn't it!!!

I won't lie and say I had no rubbish jokes to make here, but I'd better skip them, it would be off-topic and I might be brought to book by a moderator...
