He has been as good as gold! - so far! He's a bit rubbish at house training, but he's following the big guy outside, he's 'been' on the decking - not perfect, but hey, it's outside! He only cried for ten minutes when we left him at bedtime. He has taken over the big bed and the big chew he has his own small bed and small chew.. Actually, looking at him, he has both chews, chewing one and guarding the other. The big dog is watching in acceptance I think! He is also rubbish with laminate flooring - no grip, no stopping - hilarious!

He's savaged the kids this evening, they were squealing with laughter, he was snuffling in their ears and pinning them down, so funny

It was toooooooooooo good to be true! Last night the puppy exploded! I heard him creating and thought "Hmm... this is not the usual, 'Oh I am a lonely puppy in the dark' kind of a whine".
We went downstairs..... Well, lets just say the over-stuffing of himself that he's been doing (he was only given 1 meal a day so gorged himself, as he was never sure when his next meal would be) came out of ever orifice
He was trapped in the only clean corner of his crib, trying to stay away off the messes he'd made.
What a disaster. Once cleaned, and wrapped up in a lovely clean blanket he nodded off back to sleep - quietly, thank goodness. We are zombies this morning though.
Any tips on how to make food not an issue?
He is obsessed. Our other dog has food down all day, he knows it's always there. So it's not an issue for him. But this guy... Every cupboard opened - even if it's got pots in his head is in and he's sniffing away madly. Ah the joys of parenthood
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

It will take him a while to realise that food will appear at regular intervals. I think you will have to make sure that he can't get at your other dog's food too.

It could be a change of diet that has caused his explosions too. Any idea what he was fed on before you got him?
