and being old and decrepit as depicted in the picture, (see previous post on this subject), it would take him all night long resulting in Trip being on his own with the new Barmaid; fortunately they were on first name terms...............

Just popping in to say that since The Gardener's Rest thread is no longer a "never-ending story" but more of a a fantasy chat thread instead, I don't think I'll be coming any more. Loved the other GR threads, sad to see it deteriorate.

It was a cold winter evening in November and Shen, weary from a long day at the allotment, arrived at the GR hoping to find good food and cheer and was not disappointed as ............
