I tried to take out investments in roundabouts but the Councils are holding on to these shares themselves - it is the largest growth area in the country - they are like the plague - we even had one installed a few years back where the dip on the approach and canter were so bad that a police car tried to run through the middle of it a few days after it came into operation.
Another was installed between us and Irvine as a temporary measure until a new Supermarket was built and a new major roundabout installed - yes you've guessed the Supermarket has been in operation for a year and we now have 4 roundabouts in a space of a few hundred yards plus a set of traffic lights.Endeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary
