I have waited until Twelth Night - the Feast of the Three Kings - in the hope that I could post my thanks to Santa and his team but unfortunately not. It would appear that the protracted bad weather has caused his sled to be diverted or maybe it has gone "technical" in any event he didn't make it here.

Now, whilst I may seem disappointed (and perhaps I am just a tad) the biggest disappointment this year has been the total paucity of ANYONE saying thank you to their Secret Santa (above excepted of course). Again, weather may have intervened (loss of internet etc.) but I remain hugely disappointed on that score alone.

Will it stop me participating again next year? Maybe, then again maybe not.

It only remains for me to say a HUGE THANK YOU to those who put themselves out to organise this season's event, you didn't have to, but you did.

So, my faith in Santa has been restored, but I am a bit fed up with Royal Mail! My Secret Santa arrived today - so a very belated thank you for the seeds and the card, M.

Apparently a jobsworth at RM decided it was slightly over-weight and then didn't bother to send me a notification until Friday last week!! The postmark verified it had been posted in plenty of time before Xmas.

I guess I'll be in again next year.....
