Fish fingers, beans and sweet potato wedges. (Meh!)

Actually quite nice after all the rich food - though over been living off salads for the past few days - get the old diegestion back on track, so to speak!!

Chris that's why I fancied the soup but I ended up having pudding as well.

we decided to have a booze free January but I tell you what- there's no way I'm not going to gulp down my glass of champers bang on midnight!!!
hmm...and we've already invited a few peeps round early Jan who haven't been around over Xmas.

I will certainly be trying to cut down on food and drinkies over the next few weeks!

I'm going to be good and freeze some of the Xmas stuff we have in the fridge...cheeses etc

Mr.G's going to have another go at packing in the fags. I've decided! So, I'm going to have a dry January, in support.

Salmon, couscous, and roasted tomatoes, but going out to neighbours soon for New Years Eve, so lots more unhealthy nibbles to come. Definitely cutting down tomorrow !

Griddled chicken, salad and, for the boys, some chunky chips.

And the very last bottle of Dutch white wine left from my hols. I had thought it long finished, but the BH had filed it.

My sister and her partner have sent off to join the NHS scheme; he has Parkinson's and the choice is fags or Parkinson's meds (which aren't included in their tax exemption cerfisticate) He also needs to give smoking stuff he shouldn't be. His Neurologist says that cannot be certain that that particular smoking habit was not the cause in the first place.

Idiotically, they told Ma of their plans so it'll be twice as hard with her badgering them. She thinks she's helping......

Lamb steak, boiled potatoes, steamed broccolli and carrots, home made onion gravy followed by a magnum. Yum. Wine is chillin' in the fridge for later.

Haven't got a clue what to cook for this evening........although I must use up some ripe apple & pears, so probably crumble for pud.

I'd better make banana & choc chip loaf too, nanas are so brown they could be on TOWIE.

Pasta, very good for using up bits, left in the fridge, serve with a salad, perfect .

We aren't allowed pasta - too many carbs for the diabetic BH.

I did use some of the ham making spaghetti carbonara for the boys the other night though.

Tonight we're having beef stew and hopefully it will stop raining when we go to dig up some parsnips, swedes and leeks.
