I thought 'what a good idea', drank extra water yesterday then had to get up 3 times in the night. Will have to rethink that one

I've been doing this for the past year and still not sure its made any difference apart from needing the loo more like NS says.

Yes, but it is cheaper than the glasses of wine I've given up for January

Unless you are thirsty - there's no need to drink..........................obviously this doesn't count when what you want is alcoholic

Oh, yes Verinda - I can sympathise with this!

However to develop a habit, for the first month you may need a specific goal - like put your keys in one place for a month or find a spot to to keep the important papers- that may work!

I have created an important drawer and a very important drawer and trying my upmost to keep them organised and tidy, well reasonably tidy, can't expect miracles!

This reminds me of the learning cycle we used to refer to when training.

The key is to move from:-

Unconscious incompetence --> conscious incompetence --> conscious competence --> unconscious competence.

                            As you were folks!

That's fab, Jeanie. The only problem I'd have with it, is that half the people I've worked with wouldn't have understood words of that length, and the other half, wouldn't have been able to spell them!
