Seems like the people who make some of the rools have no gardening experience

Our council says we can't plant anything that stays in the ground longer than 2 years, eg strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb

Does anyone take any notice of said rool ......................NAH! It's a load of cobblers innit

Its cos they don't want to risk having to pay you compensation if the site closes.
Very unfair and mean of them to dictate what you can grow.

What could they possibly have against strawberries and rhubarb? Its that kind of thing that puts me off having an allotment. My garden may be small but it is my kingdom.

Easily got round. Plant them in pots.. So not in ground..
