  • Never understood it either Feral, wanna play with fire? Light a barbie or a candle not the grass and forests grrrrrrr
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

    • Afternoon All.....sun's just going down. It's been mostly dry this afternoon.

We've been to the doctor with this snoring. I did mention the cpap mask, Bill (I did take it on board when you mentioned it the first time) the doctor looked at me like I was mad. Apparently that's last resort stuff, the BH shouldn't have one unless absolutely necessary etc etc blah blah blah. We have explained that I'm getting no decent sleep, sedatives were offered (like handing out sweeties) we explained that the BH needs help in the night to get out of bed so I can't afford to be out of it. He looked at the BH's nose, listened to his chest, pronounced everything clear, told us to talk to the pharmacist about over-the-counter stuff. Nearly laughed in our faces when I suggested a referral to ENT. TBH I don't think he was a) interested or b) even took us seriously. We're going to try changing the BH's pillow - again - and even swapping sides of the bed. A lot of over-the-counter nasal sprays or drops can't be used with the BH's meds.

I just wish I knew why the snoring had started again.

      Anyhoo, coffee?

Sorry to read about your horses Feral and I think you deserve a medal for even trying to grow crops in these temperatures,.

        • Sad about the horses, Feral, but the right decision, I'm sure, though so hard to make. Have had to do it myself in my time, so know all the pros and cons.

          • So sorry about your horses, Feral. Its a tough decision to take. I know, I had to have one of the dogs (Lily) put to sleep this week. It was the only kind thing left for me to do for her and I am sure it was the same for you.
I wasn't going to say anything here but since we're both in the same boat, I have.
Hope your weather cools down soon

The time she was with you - she'd have definitely enjoyed - certainly seemed happy when we saw her.

Rosie and I are back from dog training - after a month's break over Xmas.
Bless her, Rosie listens to the trainers better than I do - she is so obedient for them! Hoping I will learn a bit better soon as my dog needs a good owner!
