Aaaaaaaaaaaaafternoooooooon G4 and everyone else.

Just back from being blown around the park. Uphill running drills today - tough tough tough! I'm going to have a bath then I feel the need to play with the seed box.

I'm even thinking of getting some of them in pots - tomatoes and sweet peas, perhaps.

Had a lovely session today learning how to make long eared dogs. Sadly the real live model at home spent the time howling, according to my neighbour! In the doghouse again then.

Here are all the dogs made by participants - mine has a spotty bow tie and is in the middle in front of the basket.

I've chosen 6 tomato varieties to sow out of the 14 that I have ( how does this happen???), and I will also sow a tray of seed leaves for a living salad thingy - thank you for the idea, VC, from your punnet of lettuce seedlings from little Morries earlier.

I'm not having a wild seed sowing frenzy tonight, though as the pots are in the garage, and the MPC is holding down the blowaway.

I potted some of the lettuce seedlings up today Hazel - there were 100s of them. The outer ones were battered, as if the punnet had been dropped but the middle ones were fine - just overcrowded. I got bored potting up individual seedlings so ended up planting clumps of them in the GH border. Good value

Cor. I dunno......you come in here and ask a gardening question, and get ignored. Probably because no one expects me to ask about anything horticultural. It may just be shock......

Anyway, I think the peach trees have gone from L!dl now.....

Just been talking to Janeyo about peach trees - she from the warm sunniness of CA, U S of A. I've decided that sans a GH or a conservatory, peaches are a bad idea.

Given the current climatological problems, I am now contemplating rice growing........despite the carbs.

Morning its dull and raining here so after I;ve jumped around a bit with my Wii I'll be in my GH sowing seeds, then after lunch its me and Harry Potter on the sofa. That's my day planned

I'm shop-sitting in the fancy dress shop. Dead at this time of year, deader today because of the weather. I'm just contemplating changing the window for St Patrick's Day......
