It wouldn't have made any difference Bren - it was too gusty to get them pegged on!

I hate trying to peg sheets out in autumn and spring (windy weather) you end up wrapped in flapping sheets while you do. Most unpleasant.

HH, sorry I tried to amend my post to say hope you're feeling better soon, but it wouldn't let me

      • Morning all, been a while for me! I've neglegted the forum, more through being so busy than anything else! Back on now though. Been really busy down the allotment and it's really taking shape now. I need to get some pics taken and get them on here. Have a good day all

        • I just know I"m going to spend the next 6 months wanting to plant things! You're all revving up again, and we've had such a bad year here, that I've nothing much to post in the What I harvested today.

I have pulled up a load of potatoes - TG they will grow without much water!
          Also have the garlic.
And a lot of wormwood (pity you cant eat it - well not that much anyway )

Cobra the nice weather does make big difference to the amount of spare time left to spend here on the vine. Best to make the most of it while it lasts

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
