I get woken up in the mornings by some sleepy whimpers over the baby alarm emanating from Rosie in her crate. Then I have to wake the cat, shove her, protesting, off me in bed and pad downstairs to start the day.

That explains a lot, one of my chickens was stood in the middle of the kitchen the other day, while the dog looked scared on the sofa.

Trying to be studious today, counselling coursework. Write up of a recorded listening encounter. I don't have that much of a brummieland accent, but I do use long words.
