I'm about to do some more to a picture I'm working on, but the sun is too bright through the window - I'm not complaining though! It is nice behind the glass.
Just had a 'ding' of the doorbell, and went out to find one of those poor buggas selling door-to-door. There is an organisation that 'rehabilitates' people (no, I haven't researched) into the community, by dropping them off at one end of a Village and making them sell dusters, ironing board covers, oven gloves and the like at each house. I feel so sorry for them - it must be a thankless task, as half the houses are empty during the day, and those that are in don't want anything.
The poor little girl had a holdall nearly as big as she was, jam-packed full, so although she's halfway through the village she obviously hasn't sold anything. I feel so bad I didn't buy anything, but I really really don't need anything she was selling. I bought an oven glove off the last lad (about a fortnight ago) and that cost about twice what I was expecting.
Still feeling guilty.

I've no doubt you've worked just as hard for every penny in your own purse G4, don't feel guilty there's really no need.
I sold gas door to door once converting from BG, it was tough and I didn't last long, you have to be a really tough cookie to tough that out for more than a few weeks.
Not seen one of them for ages up my road, last one that called commented that I was the first to even talk to him.I did but a couple of items which we were running low on.

Evening All. Still struggling a bit with the sore neck, but it's much better than it was. The journey to work this morning was a nightmare. Every little jolt of the car had me in agony. About an hour after getting to work I had to hot foot it over the other side of the hospital and believe me, that's quite a way. Every step brought on a pain. Anyway, d'ream (things can only get better)
Dull but dry in Aberdeen. Not very warm as yet but expected to be quite warm later. Rotovating a customers veg patch this morning which doesn't exactly fill me with joy at the though but a pounds a pound and she is a good customer so I wouldn't dream of turning down the work.
