      • I didn't go! I'm such a rebel lol. I put some laundry out, then boogered off to do horsey and doggy chores then go to work. I'll be in for 'a word' when Hubby comes home, but hey-ho - I've been waiting over a week for him to do something for me, and did it myself in the end, so he can go

I did remember to buy coffee on my way past the shop - anyone want a cuppa? Oh, and they had a Warbie's HCB loaf in, so I nabbed that as well.

        • OMG I am going to ache tomorrow. Lovely afternoon at the allotment in the sunshine - really should have worn a teeshirt instead of a jumper.

I am so glad my plot is sandy, lord knows how those with clay soil are coping after all the rain over winter and early spring. Even my plot is claggy - the constant heavy rain has really battered the soil.

            • Evening All. Neck is better, thank you for singing Bren, it really does help Had the bloods done at work this morning - our nurses are brilliant at finding veins (for needling dialysis patients) so I didn't feel a thing. Results are ok too. Ventured to Rotherham DGH for a meeting this morning so I passed the area where I was born and brought up - I was surprised at how run down it has become. Also passed by old English Steel premises where my dad worked for 49 years. Memories. Good meeting though and my appraisal was this afternoon, which also went very well. I'm tired

                • I'm tired to FF - walk with dog this morning, 5 recalls while she was off lead, pleased with that - home for some more fixits then off to the lottie this afternoon - planting strawberry plants and sowing some broadies that I had chitted. I have 4 planting beds which are still weedy and need forking over but I am over half way there on plot no 1. Then the paths and on to plot no 2!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                          • Morning all,

                            Nice bright day today
Just back from my early morning smug session, so feeling fresh!!
My onion sets have arrived, so have to try get them in by the weekend. Also have a load more potato onions to transplant from modules, and my Hi Ball overwintered seed onions... Chanced a couple of plants in the greenhouse last night (with fleece over them)

                            Have a good one!
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                            ...utterly nutterly

Lovely day here...potting up plants whilst OH has made a start on the potato bed.

Feeling a bit delicate today...picked up a tummy bug from somewhere...ah well....maybe it'll help me lose a bit of weight eh?

The grass has dried nicely so will get the mower out and get started on that soon.
