HH it sounds like the evening went well in the end

    • G'Moooooooornin' Peeps. Lazy Sunday here at the mo. The sun is out but it's still chilly. Dogs have been out and fed, and are asleep on the bed. One of them is warming my toes. Coffee?

      • Sunny here too G4. I wish my dog would go to sleep - she managed to tree a cat in the back garden this morning and keeps whining at me to let her out again to see if it's still there

        • Lovely sunny morning here, just relaxing and watching the marathon, tea, toast and home made blackberry jelly - yes I did make a lot . Going to plant some sweetcorn seeds indoors later and make some lemon curd today. All seedlings can have an hour in the sun also. With a bit if luck my daughter will cook dinner today , I have laid a few hints.

          • Well, I suppose I really should get up! I have loads to do, but it has been nice to have a slow start for a change.

            Oh well, here goes...

            • Morning All, sunny here too, but a bit chilly. My handyman is here again today (youngest son) and doing all sorts of jobs for me. Have a good day

              • Afternoon (well, it is here) the sun has finally arrived so I'm off to pant some more shrubs. As soon as I can drag Mr PP from his electronics that is. Well, he did mend my tablet this morning so I guess he is allowed a little free time.

                Right. That's long enough!!

Enjoy your Sundays - that is the worst thing about retiring as Sunday is no longer special. (But Monday morning is.)

                • Stood here on the plot. Spending a couple of hours here before doing dreaded school work. Now was it Aunty VC who had a peach tree? Expecting a two year old 5 ft and was curious about it.

Yes, I do have a 2 year old peach, bought last year and covered in tiny furry peaches at the moment. I've kept it in a pot in the GH all the time.
BTW, its beautifully sunny here and I've just planted out 50 lettuce seedlings, grown from a yellow stickered living salad from a supermarket for about 25p.
I've also turned over on my ankle and sprained it, so I'm sitting here catching up on the gossip with my foot in the air
Hope you're all having a good day

Finally getting round to mending the trampoline that took off in the storms.

                        • 7 take-away dishes full of chicken pasta, now leek and potato soup bubbling away on the hob. Time to brave the chilly wind and sow the spinach.

I'm getting the hang of my new phone, put a CD on it plus took photos and uploaded them to the calendar thread.

Thought I heard about you tickling it, couldn't remember where you kept it though. Mine is to be planted on the plot when it arrives. At £3.50, it's worth a shot! Not sure I'll get any fruit from it this year though
