Grey and showery today. I went to the plot, did a bit, but felt so ill that I could not start on the shed erection (aaarggghhh!) and of course the weather today is not conducive. Spent much of the afternoon dozing on the settee, coughing and sniffing. Happy Bank Holiday

Happy mon...I mean Tuesday. Had a weekend of gallivanting. Stood next to a replica of the champions league trophy in Madrid. Now back at work. Mama h was left in charge of all things green. Was chattering like a crazy about all the weeding she did. Even sent my a pic as I got it the plane last night. She has a one woman vendetta against rogue blades of grassy weeds. All I wanted to know was whether or not my chilies were still standing in the Wendy...

About an inch of rain so far this morning, and no signs of it letting up. Slim chance of me getting out to take piccies as I'd hoped I might be better off waiting till next weekend for a full photo session now (though I might manage to take the odd pic or two before then), as hopefully my new trees will be here by that point

It had stopped raining here for about half an hour, but it's lashing it down again now. Nipped in whilst having lunch, meatballs and spaghetti made for me by my Son-in-law and no, it's not spiked. I'm going to start youngest GG off with her own seed box, I know I have duplicates in my box. I've just been looking at dwarf beans (borlotti, canneloni, ying yang) in various catalogues (yes, I remember well G4 and others that you count them all the time, finding them therapeutic) as I think the colours will fascinate her, but aren't they a price? Never mind, she's worth it.Granny on the Game in Sheffield
