Morning All. Windy and a little drizzly but not enough to stop play, I'm sure
Hope Jake's OK Bins. One of my old dogs used to have his food and water bowls raised on blocks as he had arthritis or summat in his neck and couldn't reach down easily.

Mornin all!

Cloudy and dull but better than it has been!

In for a quiet day I think- want to get some sewing done if I can.
Also sort out some seeds for our seed swap meeting. One gal has been making lots of little envelopes out of pages of unwanted books, carefully folded ! That's what I call recycling!!

They are coming here on Sunday so we can split up the seeds as we have the largest floor space...I can see it's going to be a messy day!

Should be fun- plus I need to find some vegan recipes I can fiddle around with!

Morning the weather can't make its mind up today, we've had rain and sunshine off and on.

It is so dark here I have the lights on- I hate this gloomy weather. I think the rain may be letting up a bit - hopefully it will clear up by the time the dog needs a walk. At the moment she is sleeping off her breakfast!

Sunshine here at the mo - just been to take Domino to the vet for blood tests. He drinks quite a lot (although not visibly losing weight) and at 15yrs old, if he is tending to kidney/liver/diabetes troubles it's best to catch it early.

All might be well, but it will put my mind at rest. Not my wallet tho' at over a hundred quid!!

Tackling sociology today. Provisional aim is to get 3x1hr sessions sorted. Haven't been to the plot this week, saving it for Saturday. Checked on the chillies though that are sat in window sill and the heated prop. Sun is out; but a bit fresh.

Back home and ready to do some work outside and now it's bloody raining

OH has got out his chain saws etc and was just about to leave for a couple of hours- but it's raining too heavily for that now.

And jake has just managed to eat some titbits from his bowl on the floor..think he must've cricked his neck . Seems to be ok but I'll keep my eye on him.

This staying in because of the rain lark is getting expensive! I have just ordered a new long rope lead for training Rosie - easier to handle than a nylon lead - but when it came to checkout it cost nearly £50! Oh well, she is worth it most of the time.
Must tackle some more paperwork now.

A quick trip to the allotment with the remainder of the reclaimed wood - some of the paths are now too muddy and slippy to traverse when carrying a heavy load; nevertheless I managed to get it all from the car to the plot/plots without mishap and despite the rain and a brief light snowfall and now the sun is shining in the sky

Aaaaaaaaaaaarternooooooooon Peeps! *Stretches and yawns

Managed to get out for a lovely long ride in the sun with some chums yesterday. It brightened up in the afternoon - against the predictions so we went for a plod in the sun. Was offered the chance to ride again this morning, and the heavens opened. Came back home, without walking the dogs, as I was freezing cold and soaked to the skin. Just changed into clean dry clothes, and the ruddy sun has come out...
