I guess all the nutters are still asleep!
It's a wet morning here, I think I'll have some breakfast then go out shopping for pots for growing my tomatoes in my new greenhouse that arrives on Friday.
Hopefully it'll brighten up a bit later on.

New greenhouse eh?....bet you can't wait
What size did you go for?So I've got a Rhino on order, moved the shed last weekend and will do the path tomorrow if the rain stays off. If all goes well the tomatoes only have to hang on another week before they can breathe!

Whatever size you get will never seem big enough....but I bet you're going to be chuffed to bits with it!
I really miss mine which we left behind on our last lottie...that was a 6x8 too.
Remember you need a chair to sit in when it starts raining!...so much more exciting than sitting in the shed/ going indoors: p"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Morning all! Well it is not ACTUALLY raining at the moment, although it will later on of course, probably when I get to the allotment. But will I care? No I won't! Ha ha (fiendish laughter) because my glass shed now has a roof on it. I have included a picture of the glass shed minus roof, and will add another of it in its almost finished state - still needs drainpipe and water butt. So I can play at the plot ... in the rain. YAY!
Yes, it is that big. It's HOOOOGE. My wooden shed is little (6x4) so the glass shed is nearly 10 x 10 (imperial of course, I don't really do metric, I have to constantly convert into real measurements).
Have a lovely day all - whether you are in or out of the weather.

Bank holiday bah humbug, it just means I wont be able to park anywhere.
Still under 10 C in my GH last night. It was sunny earlier now its not, even though all the holiday makers cause problems I always wish them wonderful weather, I spent many holidays playing scrabble in wet caravans with two grizzling children who were determined to go and build sand castles.photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html

Morning all! We have drizzle here so I think I'm on indoor duties for the mo too.
I hope Mr Frosty and his funeral cortage (?sp) don't mind getting wet at the humanitarian funeral.
Cooking this morning, then - I have steak, kidney, onions and mushrooms in the fridge, so have the makings of steak & kidney puds. Just need a bottle of stout for the gravy and I'm sorted.
I'd like to get my bean frame up later - it does involve wielding a saw, though, so (frankly) I am not looking forward to that.
