        • Oh dear, vet has just rung to say the tests on Maisie's tumour are back and it looks like it is probably going to recur. So maybe kitty will lose a leg in the future. Sad about that as she is a real cat for heights.

              • Oh no, Jeanie! Hope that it's a case of 'might' recur rather than 'will' recur. Fingers crossed for Maisie and you.

                • Afraid to say it is 'likely' Hazel - but let's hope she holds it off for a year or so. Dog is being very understanding and the cat is desperate to go out in spite of the bucket on her head and the locked dog flap.
I always knew I was so lucky to have two such clever pets - bless them both.

                    • Jeanie, that is awful news and heart breaking, Our springer lost a leg last year, but she amazed us all with how she copes and what she can do. Furthermore not one wuff of complaint.

                      • I had to go and give my two a cuddle on the basis of Maisie's woes.

Not that they appreciated it much - Oliver cat giving me a plainly bewildered look, wondering why he'd been picked up and squished close, when he was quite happy, thank you, on the pink blankie.

Domino scowled at the squeeze and tried to poke me in the eye with a well aimed paw.

                        Oh well, I tried.

                        • Oh Jeanied I am so sorry, I actually can,t think what to say. Animals are so adaptable, I sometimes wonder if we suffer for them more than they do. I will keep every thing crossed for you and Masie. Big hugs

                              • My greenhouse was delivered yesterday, so after I've had a bit of breakfast I'm going to get started putting it together. It's dry, sunny and calm here so hopefully I can crack on. My tomato plants need a home!
